Innovative developments and short product cycles are typical characteristics of today`s market environment. Virtually no two designs are alike, a fact which electronic component manufacturers have addressed. In addition many manufacturers spin off entire product lines into independent companies or enter into joint ventures with other companies. The greater the number of components from different manufacturers there are in use onto a printed circuit board, the more difficult it becomes to keep on top of the availability and technical development of each individual product line.

In order to protect you from unpleasant surprises and to inform you in good time of any changes to a product, for instance regarding delivery status or its technical composition, SPOERLE is now providing a selective Product Change Notification Service, or “ePCN“ for short.

By simply providing up to two email addresses we will inform you about Product Change Notifications of all items you have ordered from SPOERLE during this year and the previous year, relating the PCN to your individual customer data, such as customer material number, last despatch date or about alternatives if discontinuations are announced by a supplier.

As this „ePCN“ service is fully automated the information is sent in the form of a standardised Excel document. In this way, with the help of common data processing methods, smooth reporting of PCNs are possible.
