KSC ST: Defined Sound Effect Tact Switch

The KSC ST series tact switches from C&K feature stable, 100% controlled sound intensity levels. They allow designers to create application-oriented control panels and modules with a clear acoustic response.

Man machine interfaces are defined by different properties to improve the user action such as actuation touch feeling, illumination, actuation force, stroke and sound effect. To match sound effects in accordance with the final product design, designers are looking for a definition of the sound intensity level. With the KSC ST series, C&K provides a miniature tact switch type, based on the KSC range, for which two different sound intensity levels are offered (>50 dBa and <30 dBa). The KSC ST tact switch is perfectly suited for automotive and industrial applications, medical devices and consumer electronics.
