The robust metal push-button switches of Schurter´s existing MSM product family are now also available with a push-on, push-off latching function.

The actual switch position (on/off) of the new MSM LA model is easy to recognize from the actuator´s resting position: In the off state, the actuator protrudes from the switch housing; in the on-state, it is depressed into the housing. This provides a user-friendly actuating function and also prevents inadvertent switching.

Featuring two isolated contacts, the IP67-compliant switch can be used for single- and two-pole switching applications. It is specified for an operating voltage of 30 VDC up to 250 VAC at a maximum switching current of 12 A.
The design of the MSM LA is the same as that of the existing MSM product line; in addition, the new switch is also available with ring illumination. This illumination can be used to indicate the switch position, or may be activated to improve visibility (e.g. at night time).
