Featuring a 15.7 mm profile, the FTR-K1 series relays from Fujitsu Components are dramatically reduced in height compared to the previous generation (VSB). The low profile makes them ideal for compact designs.

The K1 relay series meets the market trend towards smaller and smaller solutions offering the same or even higher power capabilities in comparison to the previous generation. The FTR-K1 relay is pin-to-pin compatible with the VSB relay but offers a dramatic reduction in height; dimensions are 12.7 x 29.0 x 15.7 mm (w x l x h). This 15.7 mm lowprofile relay has a contact form of 1a, 1c, and a contact rating up to 17 A, with a DC coil voltage of 5 to 110 V (AC coil voltages are on request). Other features include an insulation distance of 8 mm, TV-5 rating and an ambient temperature range of –40 °C to +105 °C. The FTR-K1AK(…)E is available in an AgNi version. Tab versions are also available for quick power connection direct to the relays. Typical applications for the FTR-K1 include solar inverters and modules, converters of DC energy into AC energy, coffee machines and inductive ovens.
