Cherry´s SD1012 is a Hall-effect sensor designed
for speed and direction sensing of
ferromagnetic geartooth targets. It can be
used for target speeds up to 8 kHz and features
near zero speed sensing capability.
The pre-assembled plastic
housing (IP67) is specified
for a maximum temperature
of +125 °C. Featuring a locating
mark to assure correct
alignment, and a 10-bit dynamic threshold
that allows an automatic
magnetic field and
geartooth geometry adjustment,
as well as target run
out compensation, this sensor
device is very easy to use. It meets the requirements
according to IEC 529 1000 (EMI,
ESD, EMC) and IEC 529 IP67.
