From Low-Cost to High-Performance Derivatives
With more than 30 different LPC2000
devices, NXP offers more ARM7-based
microcontrollers than any other vendor.
These microcontrollers are part of a
family concept which, because of the
shared resemblance, allows designers
and manufacturers to benefit from easy
migration paths.
The LPC2000 family of microcontrollers
offers an excellent price-to-performance
ratio and is ideal for use in a wide range of
applications. Good examples are the
LPC210x, LPC22x0, LPC23xx and LPC24xx
derivatives.
LPC210x Small, low-cost MCUs
with integrated A/D Converter
These powerful yet cost-effective microcontrollers
have up to 32 KB of Flash (zero
wait-state) and up to 8 KB of SRAM. Each
device of the series features a 10-bit A/D
converter with eight channels and multiple
serial interfaces. Available in a package
that measures only 7 x 7 mm, the LPC210x
MCUs are perfectly suited for use in space-constrained applications.
LPC22x0 Flashless MCUs Designed for Memory-intensive Applications
The LPC22x0 devices are high-performance,
Flashless microcontrollers designed for applications that use large external memories.
Operating at clock rates of up to 75 MHz,
these MCUs have up to 64 KB of on-chip
RAM and feature an external memory
interface. There are options for up to two
CAN bus interfaces.
LPC23xx Integrated Ethernet, USB and Can Peripherals
The LPC23xx series 72 MHz microcontrollers
support 10/100 Ethernet, full-speed
(12 Mbit/s) USB 2.0 and CAN 2.0B. They
have up to 512 KB of ISP/IAP Flash, up to
58 KB of SRAM, 10-bit A/D and D/A converters,
an internal RC oscillator, and options
for an SD memory card interface.
LPC24xx Ethernet, USB OTG, CAN
and optional LCD Controller
Built for connectivity: The LPC24xx series
MCUs not only support 10/100 Ethernet,
full-speed (12 Mbit/s) USB 2.0, USB OTG
and CAN 2.0B, they also provide two ARM
high-speed buses (AHB) for simultaneous
communications operations. Other features
include 512 KB of ISP/ IAP Flash, 98 KB of
SRAM, an external memory interface, 10-bit A/D and D/A converters, an internal RC
oscillator and an SD memory card interface.
The LPC247x adds a QVGA LCD controller.
LPC3180 208 MHz Microcontroller with ARM9EJ-S Core
In addition to the LPC2000 family of microcontrollers, NXP also offers a high-performance 32-bit microcontroller with ARM9
core. The low-power LPC3180 has a USB
OTG interface with full host capability and
provides a range of other features, including
seven UARTs, two SPI®, two IēC, a realtime clock with separate power domain,
and controllers for NAND Flash and
SDRAM, that increase design flexibility.
