The new VLMB41xx sapphire-based blue
SMD LEDs from Vishay utilize a highly
efficient InGaN technology to provide
high luminous intensity of 45 to 112mcd.
They are offered at a lower price range
than standard InGaN blue LEDs.
VLMB41xx series LEDs provide cost-effective
illumination for back-lighting in automotive
dashboards and switches; indicators
and back-lighting in telecommunications
systems, audio and video equipment, and
office equipment. They are also perfectly
suited for flat backlighting in LCD monitors,
switches and symbols in general use. The
LEDs feature high luminous intensity ranging
from 45 to 112mcd, a 60° angle of halfintensity
and an ESD-withstand voltage up
to 2kV, in accordance with JESD22-A114-B.
